the downspouts, and into the underground drains. The strainers are tall
enough to rise above the debris in the gutter, allowing the water to
slowly drain, even when the gutter is full of debris. The gutters will
still require cleanings, but the downspouts and drains won’t clog.
Drains are expensive to have cleaned via snakes and hydro-jetters. We
have found our heavy-duty strainers to be an easy solution to preventing
clogged underground drains connected to downspouts.

A.S.L. can install both 5 and 6 inch seamless guttering. Copper
guttering can also be
installed upon availability. All guttering is anchored with screws, not
nails. We highly recommend always using oversized downspouts. A.S.L.
only uses the highest gauge aluminum for 5 and 6 inch seamless
guttering. Our warranty on aluminum seamless guttering is 5 years for
seams and new materials, and 10 years on anodized-enamel finish.

St. Louis also offers underground drain installation for downspouts. We
highly recommend schedule (35) 4 inch or 6 inch PVC for the continuation
of downspouts underground. Over the past 20 years, many of the new homes
built have temporary black corrugated drains connected to the
downspouts. The corrugated drain-tile has a short life. Roots, soil
content, and pure weight eventually cause the corrugated drain-tile to
