A.S.L. can clean, repair, and install most all guttering, as well as, diagnose each home’s unique requirements for regular maintenance. Every home and building is different. The number of trees, roof type, guttering type, and ground drainage all require different solutions. We can help.
A friendly tip: never mix copper with any other type of metal, other than stainless steel.

Downspout Strainers

We offer stainless-steel downspout strainers for homes with underground drainage systems. The strainers will prevent debris from washing down the downspouts, and into the underground drains. The strainers are tall enough to rise above the debris in the gutter, allowing the water to slowly drain, even when the gutter is full of debris. The gutters will still require cleanings, but the downspouts and drains won’t clog. Drains are expensive to have cleaned via snakes and hydro-jetters. We have found our heavy-duty strainers to be an easy solution to preventing clogged underground drains connected to downspouts.

Gutter Guards

E-Z Step Down Guards
We at A.S.L. prefer one type of gutter guard. It is an economical alternative to the many expensive and ineffective products currently made. The bottom line: if water can enter, debris can enter, even shingle dust. Our preferred gutter guards are heavy-duty, black, powder-coated, metal screens that fit all types of aluminum guttering. They will not cave in from debris, and will most always fit tight. The guttering will require future cleanings, but not near as often. The spring seeds can tend to find their way through the gutter guards. Our guarantee is to return at any time if any sections may ever fall from the guttering.
Leaf Relief Gutter Guard System
The most effective gutter guards we offer, at an economical price. The Leaf Relief gutter guards are specifically made to fit on both 5" and 6" aluminum guttering. The Leaf Relief system can also be custom ordered for some copper guttering. The smooth finish does not give leaves,sticks,acorns, and seeds anything to adhere to. The tree debris will simply blow off in a mild breeze, while the thousands of small holes are adequate for catching the water flow from the roof. The pricing for Leaf Relief gutter guards are 50%-75% less than comparable products advertised on T.V. and radio. The installation includes a 3 year "no clean" guarantee, and a 5 year materials/craftmanship warranty. More expensive than our Easy-Lock gutter guards, but more effective. Recommended for homes in heavily wooded areas.

Repairs

A.S.L. can make most any repair to gutters, within reason. The only repairs we cannot perform are soldering on copper guttering.

Installation

A.S.L. can install both 5 and 6 inch seamless guttering. Copper guttering can also be installed upon availability. All guttering is anchored with screws, not nails. We highly recommend always using oversized downspouts. A.S.L. only uses the highest gauge aluminum for 5 and 6 inch seamless guttering. Our warranty on aluminum seamless guttering is 5 years for seams and new materials, and 10 years on anodized-enamel finish.

Drainage Solutions

Ace St. Louis also offers underground drain installation for downspouts. We highly recommend schedule (35) 4 inch or 6 inch PVC for the continuation of downspouts underground. Over the past 20 years, many of the new homes built have temporary black corrugated drains connected to the downspouts. The corrugated drain-tile has a short life. Roots, soil content, and pure weight eventually cause the corrugated drain-tile to collapse. We can help
